What We Do
Three services, one starting point.
Connecting your organisation with the perspective, skills and community access of multicultural young people. Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need.
Youth Engagement
Bring multicultural young people directly into your research, policy or program design process, through consultancy, co-creation workshops, roundtables or ongoing collaboration, from defining the challenge through to supporting you to apply the recommendations.
Many organisations are committed to engaging diverse communities, but knowing how to do this effectively can be complex. The right support can help turn commitment into lasting impact.
Over 48% of young people in Australia have at least one parent born overseas. Is your marketing campaign missing the mark? Is your product launch responding to multicultural young people’s diverse needs?
Benefits:
Make better decisions. Access lived experience insights that help shape policies, products and services that resonate with multicultural young people.
Increase impact. Design initiatives that are more relevant, effective and responsive to the communities you want to reach.
Build credibility and trust. Demonstrate a genuine commitment to inclusion by involving multicultural young people in decision-making processes.
Save time and resources. Leverage proven engagement methods and decades of expertise to gather meaningful insights efficiently and effectively.
We offer:
An end-to-end engagement process: help define your challenge, design a culturally responsive engagement approach, recruit and prepare relevant young people, facilitate youth-led insight, translate findings into usable outputs, and support you to apply the recommendations.
We do it all: consultancy, co-creation, roundtables, collaboration, campaign and creative delivery (including talent recruitment and management), research and evidence-building, and facilitation, speaking and events. Every organisation's starting point is different. Tell us what you need, we’ll make it happen.
Organisational capability and strategic advice, including audits, cultural safety guidance and inclusive practice support.
We maintain a standing pool of speakers, facilitators and consultants with shared recruitment, training, pay and mentoring behind it.

Speakers
Book a multicultural young person to bring a real, lived-experience perspective to your event, panel, conference or internal session. Our trained speakers talk from experience on topics including migration and settlement, identity, belonging, and navigating institutions as a young person from a multicultural background. They work across education, local councils, media, community organisations and state and federal government.
How it works: tell us your event, audience and topic. We match you with a speaker whose experience fits, brief them alongside you, and handle logistics. Delivery formats include keynote, conference, panel, MC, casual talk, storytelling, workshop and classroom session.
We deliver in person services in Victoria and online Australia-wide.
27 young speakers have delivered over 136 engagements reaching over 20,000 people and counting.

Training
Powered by Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY)’s 35+ years of experience, we deliver training that equips your team to work confidently and respectfully across cultural difference, in service delivery, recruitment, program design or community engagement. Delivered through in-person workshops, public training or tailored corporate sessions, our training can be customised to your organisation's specific context.
We don't run a generic diversity module. Our trainers draw on current practice, current cases and current barriers, which is why sessions hold authenticity and our young people’s voices.
We leave you with strategies that staff can apply and can extend into policy, recruitment, complaints processes and supervision guidance where a single workshop isn't enough.
